Hi,

Had the pleasure of accompanying Brett as he carried out a survey on one of his reptile sites on Saturday, he found this particularly fiesty female who posed for us for a short while...

Always a pleasure to photograph these super creatures.

All the best

Nice shot Phil, the expression looks full of intent - what was the snake agitated about?

I've never been interested in snakes as a subject, but seeing some of the fantastic posts on the forum makes me feel I'm missing a trick. Nice work.

Cheers,
Chris

Certainly ,looks annoyed about something, and showing the classic defence pose. The last time I saw one like this it bit the microphone !
Good stuff.

She was a stunning animal Phil and you've captured her very well here. That is an awesome pose and glad you made the most of it. Great to catch up over the weekend.

Also, for those that asked.. She was agitated by me! I was trying to get a shot of her head pattern in-situ so that I could identify her and no matter which way round I carefully moved around her she would follow me ready to strike which gave Phil this opportunity whilst he was on the deck. Anyway, I did manage to get her details and she went in to her refuge spot of a nearby Bramble bush.
