CNM and Canyonlands
My wife and I made a quick 3-day trip to the desert for some images and mountain biking. I left no skin on the Moab rocks this time....

I sure like the detail in the first one, and the color in the second. I have yet to see a photo that truly captures the immensity and intensity of actually standing at that overlook. Such a grand place!

Dave,

I really like these, especially the first two. There is a depth in #2 that really keeps you looking deeper and deeper into the image. Maybe a crop with less sky would really focus the onlooker's gaze more into the bottom two-thirds, but who knows. Looks like you had a good weekend.

Guess I was a bit (a lot) too quick to respond. That last one looks like it should be in "Prairie Thunder." The fifth one doesn't do much for me, but I love 3 and 4!

I like 3&4, Dave, nice stuff! I think the top one could use a slight CCW rotation, even if the tilt is due to perspective.

My favorite here is #1, it just seems to be loaded with detail that can be studied over and over again.
