Taken a good 20 minutes before sunrise. The amount of water flow and the darkness of the scene led to a tricky exposure. I captured this at 800 ISO (which I would never do before the 5DmII) and two blended exposures.
Richard, this is outstanding. I love the light on the clouds and the mist in the right center of the image. I'm also a sucker for diagonal lines and this has several layers of them. Awesome!
Just fantastic Richard...those higher ISO's are getting better and better over the years...I never would have guessed this was taken at 800. Wonderful Comp.

Cool shot! I like the low perspective and water rushing towards you in the fg. I don't hesitate to bump up the iso anymore - you're right, its so much better than it used to be.
Stunning. I love the way it is composed, I agree with Wade about the water rushing towards you.

The perspective pulls the viewer right into the scene. The falls look immense.
You've really created an awe-inspiring image here, Richard.

Just when you've think you seen all the the possible compositions of this falls, Richard shows you new and wonderful ones.
How did you keep your lens dry?
I can only imagine how difficult this exopsure must have been. You are right that the 5DII's noise control at high ISO's is really amazing. Nice work here.
