Punchbowl Falls...
This is from the other day when I got Metlako Falls also. This one however was a bit more painful to get due to standing in that water for around 30 minutes. I was going to wait a bit longer to get some light on that right wall, but my legs just couldn't take any more. Its a blend of three different shots. Thanks for any C&C. I'll post it in ESS later maybe.

Looks like the web conversion darken the left and some of the shadows a bit more than I wanted...I'll post a fix soon.

Dang! Looks well worth the effort! I'm going to be up there a couple times next week on vacay..

Quite possibly the most water I've ever seen in the falls. I was camping at Eagle Creek on Sunday night and had planned on going up there on Tuesday had those nasty storms not chased me out of town yesterday evening. Not sure I would have been able to stand in that much water even for 5 minutes, let alone 30. Worth it though, blend works well.

Jeremy... are you using CS4 to blend?
What a wonderful shot... one of the very best I've ever seen od PBF!

The falls looks raging right now. Great use of the light, Jeremy.

Thanks guys, yeah the water was huge and very cold. Another photographer came down in waiters and we sat there for about 15 min together. My legs got so cold I had pins and needles afterward for 30 min, it sucked. It was fun though, the other photog I met, Joe Wee, was a real nice guy. We went up Ruckle creek the next day together. Was a fun couple of days.

Jack- yes CS4, although the blends that I do are not any different than cs3 that I can tell. Use Tony's luminosity mask and a couple of other things.

Thanks again guys.

Brrr. Loving the water flow and green. I wish I didn't have so much going on right now; I'd love to get into the gorge more.

Yow! Lots of water up there. Looks really nice. I'm assuming it gets too deep if you go much farther? I haven't seen many photos from much closer than this if I recall correctly. I need to get my butt up there to see it for myself one of these days...

Nice but it sure does look like a lot of other photos I've seen from here, although I've sold the same shot of the Swirls, that EVERYONE else has, three times. So, really, creativity doesn't count for much in selling photographs.

Thanks Mark. I don't have the shot so I was glad to get it. Don't really sell stuff anymore so it was just for me.

Looks great, Jeremy. I think you did well to hold your own in such a high flow of water, too. You sure took some punishment for this shot, but it looks like it was worth it.

Other than the left side being a little dark, I think it's great. I have to get my "Punchbowl without the log shot" myself.
