Cuckoo
Sorry I haven't been very active on the forum of late but very busy with the side of my photography I enjoy the least.

Taken from the car window on a bean bag 1D MkIII 500mm f4 @ f5.6 iso 400 1/2500 (+ 0.33 and still a little under exposed)

A great bird that many of us never see, and only hear, and you get one in flight!! A really smashing shot David, you must be proud. I am envious

Hope to see you again soon.

great shot, the light and pose is excellent, more than a few times i've taken an idle snap of a passing bird to realise later it was a cuckoo, never got anything this good though
