There is a great feature story by Buddy Gough who took some canoeing lessons from Tom Kennon in today's edition of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. As Buddy says, Tom literally wrote the book on canoeing in the Ozarks. Way to go Tom! :toast:

I couldn't find an online version of the story, but you can grab a copy at a newstand, then look for the Outdoor section.

Great story Tom.
I think it's safe to say that you'll never be Up Creek with out a paddle!

Congrats Tom. Great article, I usually don't expect articles like this to contain so much technical info. Fun to read

Thanks, eveyone, I have found over the years that the rivers also open up many opportunities for great photographs. Both activities allow me to be in the great outdoors in Arkansas, first, but in many other great places around the country also.
