Nice photo Jeff- maybe needs a touch more contrast and a little saturation. This looks like a youngster?

I always describe jay's as crows that are dressed up for a party, and magpie's are crows that support newcastle utd.

hi danielle

if you support newcastle united, you will be taking a bad fall on sun from the premiership, whilst the team i support being burnley may well take newcastles place

anyway back to wildlife/(birdlife in this case), jays are wonderful dressers are they not ?

Nice sharp shot of a lovely bird. Looks pretty good for ISO 1600. Would like to a touch more room all round. If it comes again, maybe you can entice it onto a more natural-looking stage, minus the bird food.
(Just think yourselves lucky you're not a Southampton fan like me! We're down into the third division, and with a ten-point deduction, look like favourites to go down again next year. The way things are going, we're going to have the best ground in non-league soccer. And that's if we don't go out of business first. :frown: What happened to the days of Kevin Keegan and Lawrie McMenemy, et al. when I was a lad?!  :frown:  )
