Wow, they are fantastic! I was just posting how great they were, but your post beat me. Thank you, Jim. I can't even imagine what this will do to the traffic numbers, which were already great.

I noticed that many image captions are now cut-off - do you happen to know the character limit off-hand (tho' I suppose I could count)? Should we mention the character limit in the posting guidelines? Just a thought...

much much better. Its amazing how much more likely I am to open images with the big thumbs..a little longer toload for us country folks without super highspeed internet but not bad at all (we DO have DSL...) :cool:

Ian, try reloading the page and see if that clears it. If not, send me a link to the page in question so I can get a look.

Yes, this update was long overdue for sure. I am going to look into doing the same on PhotoPortfolios.

Jim : it's all working fine now, without my doing any reloading, with one small exception at the moment - Bill Maile's image on Macro page 1, near the bottom ( The Speckled Band ) which is only part loading for me. I have tried several times to get it with no luck.

Gosh, it all does look very impressive !
