Flying Whopper.....
Quarter pounder take-away Gigrin style

Raven and usual set-up. I found out on this trip that Chris at Gigrin is propping up the local beef economy, I had always assumed he was feeding butchers scraps and bones etc. Not one bit of it, only the best beef is good enough these days, so don't complain at the prices next time you go there, your money is being well invested.

Chris also mentioned they are doing an article on the BBC Springwatch there this year and want to do a live feeding broadcast at 8.30pm - have a think about that one......

For me it needs more detail in the blacks, and for the all important eye to be more evident.

What I might call a novelty shot, and that in no way demeans it, as it is still a good capture. Well spotted and taken.

I agree it is lacking contrast and lacking critical sharpness, but given the rainy conditions and extremely low light levels we never were going to get good flight images that day.

It was posted as a fun shot.

I reckon he'd prefer a bacon double cheese really though.

Great shot given the conditions, gives you an idea of the power and size of these birds.
