Meadow Pipit - (Anthus pratensis)
A 'snatched' shot taken early in the morning whilst waiting for the elusive Buzzard to turn up having Graham almost driving over him the previous day as we turned the bend. A very lucky escape for the kill, the startled rabbit headed for cover

A very nice little shot, I think you could have afforded to crop closer, without loosing any of the content etc., in order to emphasis the pipit a tad more.

Nice muted tones there Anneka

I think Ray may well have a point - I think you could afford to loose a touch all the way around the image, but it's no big thing.

Lovely shot, I like this as is, plenty of space for text, and room to breathe, I guess it just depends on useage.

Lovely light and pose.

Nice shot - and good compensation for the buzzard, better luck tomorrow.

Hi Stphen

As Chris says nice atmosphere - I think both yours and a slightly tighter crop work!

Nicely done and I too like it as is without any crop but it's al personal taste I guess.
