I'd like to get some feedback from others as to what they think are my best photos. This can help me if I'm undecided on photos to use for books, calendars, web sites, art shows, etc. I've posted 50 of my photos at the link below and am hoping others can pick out maybe 4-6 of their favorites and 4-6 of their 2nd favorites (and if you don't like any of the photos, just select the ones you dislike the least ). Here's the link:
Grant, that's a really nice collection of images and it was hard picking just 12, but here goes:
Favorites:
15, 16, 30, 31, 46, 49
Seconds:
2,13,19,38,39,47
The astro photos are really nice, but 31 is my favorite due to the balance of the comp. You did some fine work on them, hopefully the full size images hold up in regards to noise. A bit darker on the sky background might help, as the skies seem a little too bright.
I could pick some more, but hopefully this gives you a start. Good luck on the upcoming season.
Wow, these are almost as good as Erik Stenslands work.
I pick 1-50.
O.k. for favorites 1, 8, 13, 15, 18, 30, 31, 44, 48, 49. I'm sorry that's the best I can do to narrow those down, and it was painful.
For seconds, and may I say you are really cruel to make me move these down to seconds,
4, 7, 11, 38, 46, 47, 50. All of the others are really firsts like the seconds, too.
Pretty tough job to do this! How about if I pick the ones I like the least. (Not that they aren't already good) So the ones I like the least are 45 43 32 28 27 7 5 4. Good Luck!
Thanks for the feedback thus far! But if you're reading this, stop reading and give me more feedback! I need more for statistical significance.
I'm glad to announce that one of my very own photos has gotten the most votes so far! And, Morris, you'll notice that Erik Stenslands' photos have gotten 0 votes!!
Craig, the astro images hold up pretty well at full sizes. I used a 24mm f1.4 L lens and Noiseware, so I've gotten about the best quality I can, though with such low light you can certainly still see some issues with noise.
Thanks John! I still have a ways to go before getting photos half as good as yours of the Colorado Plateau, but I'm working on it! You must really like #31, since you chose it twice!

The first five I chose purely on initial visual 'wow' factor:
7, 10, 23, 31, 45
The second five was where the choices were almost agonizing.
2, 11, 12, 15, 16, 31, 50
See? I couldn't even do five!
Truly an outstanding body of work, Grant.
It was tough choosing, but quite pleasurable to browse through your work.
