Found this young guy out enjoying the flowers at Camp Robinson last week. Looks like he's enjoying himself to me!

Nikon D300, 200-400VR w/1.4 TC; ISO 800; f5.6; 1/200; hand held resting on bean bag from car window.

Have a great day!

Sweet!!!! :toast: I like that the line of tall flowers (type of coneflower?) seems to all be within your plane of focus and that they are contrasted so nicely with the dark backgorund. There is a nice layer effect to this image. The yellow and blue blooms make great accents. Thanks for showing this one!

Very nice! I saw the flowers starting to bloom a few weeks and never made it back out there. I'm glad you had the chance to find some nice subjects to work with. The bucks should have some size to their antlers at the end of June and I hope to get out there more often. The control burn should open up the area for some spectacular flowers this summer.

The first word that came to mind was "sweet"! I can see that I wasn't the only one with that reaction. A really nice environmental image David. Good stuff!
