Hi all,

Came across some Grizzled Skippers today so tried my luck, quick little blighters! Not done a great deal of insect photography before so advice and critique most welcome.

Thanks for looking,

Lewis.

Thats very nice Lewis, super detail in the Skipper, exposure looks very good and a nice complimentary BG, the only change I'd make would be to the comp, I'd give it a little more room at the bottom to include more of the fern, I think it will balance the shot, good work.

Really good detail for handheld, with sharp focus throughout. Wells seen and executed. :toast:

Never seen one of these and you have captured it very well. a little loss of dof on the tip of the left forewing, but for HH you got a great shot and well detailed.

I agree with the above, a very nice shot of a rarely seen butterfly.
