Ouachita Area
Karla and I finaly made our first trip up to Flatside Pinnacle Saturday after the rain. Tons of photo ops of rock formations and 180 plus degree views.

We missed the rays of sunshine coming thru the clouds by minutes. This photo doesn't do any justice to what was going on, but I'm posting it anyway. We are planning a future trip for the sunset and star trails/rock painting. Just waiting on the weather to clear up.

As close as this is to Conway I'm surprised you guys have never been out there before. I assume you will probably be making many more trips out there now.

Funny thing is that I deer hunt just down the road a mile or two and have driven past this rock several times. I get one tracked(pardon the pun) minded when I'm deer hunting. I get to see some great vistas out hunting, but I'm not carrying a camera. I just remember what I saw and go back if needed with a camera.

Nice image/s Mike. Since I didn't get to meet you this spring it is nice to put a face with the names. By the way, that first step looks like a doozy!!
