Monument Rock this morning
Went out for sunrise this morning and managed to capture a bit of color in the sky along with this nice reflection of Monument Rock.

Ive only been to Monument rock once, and im surprised more folks dont shoot it, such a cool feature. I really like the exposure you got here, and the nice light on the rock. Very nice overall, i think the sky looks just a tad oversturated for my tastes.

Nice shot of something different. I think I'd like this cropped to a pano, since there's so much empty space in the shot.

I like the cropped version Steve, the emphasis is really on the rock and orange sky now!. I like the contrast of colours, and exposure is spot on and balanced nicely between reflection and actual rock.

Help stamp out ignorance.
What neck of the woods is this rock located?

As many times as I have hiked around and in the general vicinity of that rock, I never thought it to be very photogenic. Apparently, I never saw it in the proper light.
Very good photo, especially the cropped version.

Nice capture of the sunrise and detail in the rock. I like the pano more too.

Love the blues and golds, beauty of a setting. Like others, I've never stopped to photograph it because I never saw this composition while driving by. Next time.........
