Anticipation 2
Taken this afternoon, this is one of two that have started to open. We have a row about ten feet long with many blooms about ready to open! The color is wonderful. I used a 32 inch reflector to diffuse the bright sun.

I like this one alot. The background is cleaner making the bud just pop out. :)

Keep shooting this as it continues to open; will make a nice sequence. My only suggestion would be to try for a little more DOF (without bringing out anything in the BG).

YEAH, Matthew! That's the ticket; very nice bg and better detail on the blossom. Different kinda look to it being only partially open. I like it. Good thing you used the diffuser.
