Yellow Archangel
Thought I,d get away from the macro idea with the lovely blurred bacgrounds and get back to the old Heather Angel style. There's a place for both I suppose. Its always been a good way of showing a recognisable habitat.

Nice natural feel to this image that delivers a sense of place. A very minor nit would be the diagonal branch to the left that pulls the eye a little. No big deal, nice shot.

Cheers,
Chris

The visible background really gives a sense of the habitat John and the image is all the better for it. The only little nit I could pick is that the larger patch of sky pulls the eye a bit (but not too much)

You've re-thrown that gauntlet down well John: a good reminder and a nice image too.
