Red Winged Blackbird
Not the most natural of perches but I liked the detail in bird and also the almost completely OOF surroundings except for a small strip of textured wood. I understand it may not be to everyones taste due to the perch but regardless, to appreciate the detail it's best viewed large.

Taken in Florida at Green Cay wetlands.

D300 with 200-400 VR at 350mm (I think the 1.4x TC was attached still though), f5.6, ISO 360. Small crop of about %10 from left, right and top of frame.

It works very well for me, beautiful colours to this stunning bird  and I like how the bird is looking down at something going on     :wavey:

I really like this. The man-made perch works very well here. A very clean image and a lovely bird with great detail :toast:

Exposure looks spot on and the detail in the large image is great. The stitches or whatever in the perch are a bit eye-catching for me.
