***Whoops! Sorry, the link is fixed now.***

This is neat... OnOne Software who makes the PhotoTools 2 PlugIn is now offering a Lite version from free, downloadable right here. This version has 14 of the more popular effects, including the skin smoothing effect. The Standard edition has 181 effects and the Pro version has 293 in case anyone was wondering. But for free, this is worth some download time! They say it's compatible with Photoshop CS2/3/4, not sure about LightRoom.

Couple of good filters in there, and the price is right!
Don't overlook the 140 free photo presets for ACR and Lightroom at the bottom of the download page.

Thanks, Paul!!

Quite dramatic. Thanks for posting the link, Pete. Yes, it is compatible with CS4.

And John, for the Lightroom presets

A few words about compatibility. In CS3, the plugin is activated in the menu line, between View and Help. In CS4, it is found in File>Automate>Photo Tools

I can't get an image to load from CS3. Nothing, nada. The download went fine. I checked support and they said to make sure the image was in standard mode in screen in view. I made sure it was, but still no image in Phototools.

Philip, on my installation (PS CS4 Extended) I do have it on the File-->Automate menu, but there's also an "onOne" menu that shows up between "Window" and "Help" along the top. However, I didn't know about the File-->Automate option, so thanks!

Morris, that's a weird one... so frustrating when things like that happen. Maybe try uninstalling it and reinstalling again? And if you use Vista, make sure you right-click on the Setup file and do Run as Administrator. Just a shot in the dark... hope you get it resolved!
