Just Got Back, Yellowstone
Hey everyone, I just got back from my 6th trip to the Yellowstone area (Yellowstone,Grand teton, ect). We rented a 400mm 2.8 for the week and it was amazing. I havent gone through them all, but heres a shot that stands out so far. We were on our way to a local badger den in Lamar Valley when i spotted a wolf out in a feild near the road! I quickly got out and put on the 2x tele converter, attached the camera to the tripod, and plugged in a cable release. Suddenly it started heading towards the road and soon crossed it to get to the rest of the pack on the other side of the valley. What a day! I'll start posting some of my favorites as I go through them.

Cool shot and looks like wolfy got wet a little bit. The right tone curve can make this really pop.

Great find! I'd love to have some wolf shots in my wildlife files. This animal looks either stressed or not in good health. Was he/she wet? I'm looking forward to seeing more if you have had the time to process. I agree with adding a little color here to make it pop a bit more.
