Wood Warbler.
D3 + 600mm AFS II + 1.4 Conv.
1/250 @ f5.6.
ISO: 800.
Ex Comp -0.7EV.
WB : Auto.
Taken from the vehicle.
Nomally the usual view is one from below, but this bird performed nearly at eye level at times a real bonus.
Taken in its preffered habitat oak woodland.

Hi Major, A cracking shot, really love the way the pastel colours of the warbler are complimented by the background. :toast:

I don't usually like these sort of shots much - but this is an exception with nice colours, good comp and a nice BG.

Sweet shot Major :toast:

Great shot of the bird, but it's the colour palette of the whole image that makes it special :toast:

You got it Dave exactly the reason for the post. It was for this reason I posted along with the fact that Wood Warbler is such a rare sighting now days particularly in North Norfolk.
Many thanks for the comments. :wavey:

Viewing your images is an imperative Major. Seldom dissapointed and frequently inspired.

This is no dissapointment.
