Really nice work Guy, but maybe you could tell me how there appears to lots of water droplets on the Dragon but not on the plant..? As always with your Macro work it is to a very high standard and quite inspirational.

Kind regards,

Brett :toast: :wavey: :toast:

Hello Brett.

I found this one a lot later than I would have hoped for. ( stayed in bed longer than I should have ) When I foumd this one the stem was in sun light and the dragonfly was still in the shadow from some trees. I had to wait about half an hour for the dragonfly to also be in the full sun light. You will notice that the legs and lower part of the body have also lost the dew drops dew to being in the sun longer than the wings which were the last part of the body to be come clear from the shadow of the trees.

Thanks for looking and you comment.

a great shot Guy, lovely composition and warm colours. I've yet to see one of these this year.

Excellent Guy.... is it me or has she been in the wars? looks like part of the forewing is missing...

(I can never find them when covered in dew so well done....)

Hello Phil.

No she was in perfect condition. What you are seeing is the forwing much more forward than the back wing. So it is coming more straight on to you than the back wing.

Thanks for looking and your comment.
