I was lucky enough to get in a quick trip to Wisconsin a few weeks back for work. Was in on Monday and out on Friday, but I did get four evenings to get out and get some pics. Luckily I had some great skies while I was there so I got a few good images too.
Here is one from a walk through the woods. I was just getting back toward a road and thought the movement in the clouds made for a nice image.
Very interesting effect; has kind of a mild watercolor look to it. I can't tell here because the road is pretty small in the frame: is this just a long exposure, letting the wind do its thing, or did you add any camera movement into the equation?
I like the blurred effect with this scene. Something here seems tilted, though, and I can't quite put my finger on it. The road would be a nice leading line into the frame, but off to the side it kind of takes me out of the frame to the left. I really like the sky here - it has a nice, moody feel to it.
I like the overall feeling provided by the photo. For some reason the road is drawing me out of the photo rather that drawing me into the photo. You might be able to crop a bit more from the bottom.
