hello

One from a recent trip to Bempton, lots of sunshine and showers, this was during a break in the rain, was the picture I was after, 90% full frame.

techs
D3 + 300mm 2.8 with 1.7 TC (510mm)
1/500 sec @ f7.1 -1/3 EV ISO 400
hand held

Nice one Colin, apparently they re build their nests after rain, so that brings them up to collect the grass.

Exposure looks good and I like the Campion(?) adding colour in the fg against the tones of the sea behind...

Great head on pose. The colourful fg is a real bonus. Very nice.
