Looking for the same upgrade everyone else is doing...If you want to get into a Canon 5D, I have a low-actuation body and lens combo I'd prefer to sell as a unit, but am willing to sell separately for a little more each.
The details:
Canon 5D body, purchased Jan 2008, last picture showed actuation #2759, so lots of life left in the shutter. Some scratches on the the right top clear lens where I had it around my neck on a hike and it bumped my chest strap in an odd way. No other trauma or damage to the body. I am the only owner of the camera thus far.
Comes with strap, 5D remote, 7 batteries (4 of which are Canon, 3 are "other" batteries. Only the original Canon battery and the "others" are open), charger, original box and manuals.
Canon 24-70 "L" series lens, bought off of eBay a few years ago. The original owner sold it with a small dent in the front and a filter stuck on the end. I have had that fixed and now it accepts 77mm filters no problem. The strictly cosmetic scratches on the outside front are the only evidence left of the trauma. The lens has no other scratches or problems. The elements are clean and free of dust, scratches and other blemishes. It takes excellent pictures.
Comes with lens hood and front/rear caps. I don't have the original box.
Asking $1500 for the 5D body + batteries & remote, $900 for the lens, or $2300 for both.
I would prefer local (Denver-metro area) sales to avoid shipping hassles, but I'll quote anyone in the continental US shipping with insurance (sorry, won't ship out of the US, too many hassles).
