sonora fog

this was taken last fall. while driving over the sonora pass i came across this scene. it was raining with thick fog all over the place. the white leaves are actually the fall colors which was glittering in the subdued weather. i decided to convert straight away to B&W as it represented the scene more accurately. what do you think ?

Deb, I like how the ferns are white here. They really stand out that way. Love the fog too.

Composition and tonal range are really nice! I just wish the ferns were sharper... I'm guessing there was a bit of wind? Well seen, captured and processed.
