Flat Irons

Was at the flatirons a few days ago with Nick and the sunrise was not too bad. This is a tone blend from 3 exposures, it will be great when the rest of the flowers start to bloom. Seems like I have neglected this area for more than ten years. Enjoy.

I like both but prefer the 2nd version. Beautiful setting, great flowers and light! The clouds look blown out, though I'm sure the original RAW is perfect.

Really nice shots, and the comp, color, and light are very good in both. They do look flat, like a loss of contrast or something.

Agreed, it is teh contrast that I am having issues with too here on my end

Nice stuff, Bill, especially the 2nd, IMO. I think the contrast is OK, but neither appears sharp to my eye.

Sweet shots Bill!! I was up there briefly before work last week, but I didn't quite get there early enough, so I missed the best light. Flowers are definetly poppin up there tho!
