I don't get around to posting here very often, but am going to try to spend more time here. It's nice to have a regional forum...

This is from a tree farm near Hermiston, OR. Shot with a 15mm fisheye on an IR converted 5D

Yep, I think I know exactly the tree farm you took this at. I've always felt that it could yield some pretty nice comps. Did you just walk into it or did you ask the management for permission?

I really like this image. It is a good example for the use of a fisheye lens and I think the IR "take" really does something for the image. Great job!

This is terrific! The symmetry, lighting and IR effect make for a very interesting image. Nice stuff.

I just walked in and shot. I didn't see until after the big 'no trespassing' signs. I'll probably go back in the fall and shoot, but will get permission next time...

That's buggin' my ojos out a little, but I like it!

I've seen your photos around the web in other fo-tog forums, and think you should definitely post here more. Keep 'em coming.

Kevin,
Quite a nice shot. The lens did it's job perfectly. If I could change anything, it would be to make the trees on the right be the same brightness as the ones on the left keeping the trunks in the center as is. I know, easier said than done. :toast:

Pretty cool shot! I've shot in here too and have gotten a couple keepers. It's a nice stop along the way to the Palouse.
