Memorial day W.E. trip-Comanche grasslands
Took a trip to the Comanche Nat'l Grasslands and have to say it is an amazing place! I am so glad it is so close to where we live, I can drop in often. Here is one image and a link to the rest if ya wanna see  I am still working on many images because my PS is running like the slowest thing in existence. Can't wait to get CS4 in a few days. Here's a link to the rest:

Wow, fantastic collection of very creative images, Pamela. I like this one a lot, really good pof, pov, and dof. It's like a grass cram! Good work.

Turning a copy and paste to a hyperlink takes about 15 seconds. See "Text Style Menu" link below. (sorry, it's a pet peeve...)
I love "Streamside," and your shot above is really well-seen. All in all, an excellent collection of images of a place I have (shamefully) never been.

That's a really nice collection! I like the streamside shot as well, but the flower shots are very nice to gaze at, as well. Looks like it has been a good wet year out that way.

Very nice collection.
I'd like to check it out some time but there are so many distractions between here and there.

Cool set of images! I have never been out that way, so nice to see some more grassland images. Another vote for the streamside image too. Very dreamy feel.

Great collection, nice to see something different than snow.

Wow! "Determined growth" is mind-blowing, but the whole collection is nice. I'm now regretting my decision to skip that area when I spent a few days down in the Southern CO a few weeks ago. It looks like you hit a peak time when you were there.

Yeah, this is certainly well worth the trip. We hardly had anyone there when we were which is always a plus. BTW, all those images were shot with my 100mm f2.8 macro lens, handheld, no filtration. I only wanted to carry one lens and thought it would be the most versatile, especially for critters and flowers. The new home is coming along really well John  There will be plenty to keep us busy for the next few years. We just built a deck off the main porch for stargazing/bird watching/wine swilling. Rick is working on finishing rain gutters as I type this.
