Hayman Fire area
Just got back from a few days in the Lost Creek, Goose Creek area.
This one on the way in a few miles North of the Goose Creek campground.

Very dynamic composition especially considering the devastation that took place in that area. Great eye in finding this.

I like the ying and yang aspect of this - the tree and grasses growing in the forground and then the senseless destruction in the distance. Great lines as well...

Yeah, the contrast of the new tree and the burned ones in the background tell quite a story. This tree is a survivor, especially considering where it is growing in the first place. Nice comp.

Pretty Cool Ed. The devastation from that fire is still impressive. Its good to see some signs of life returning though.
