I'm back after a bit of a hiatus focusing on getting into some local galleries and shows (with some success!)

As we all know, the outdoor show season is upon us and I have several lined up. I remember a topic posted in this forum about a year ago that gave info on a method to process customer charge cards on a cell phone. I checked the old posts, but it seems to have rolled off the end. I googled and found one service: merchantanywhere.com that I'm taking a look at.

Does anyone recall the topic or the source?

Thanks, it's nice to be back!

Jim, check out PROPAY. You may use a cell phone to accept credit cards. The cost is about &60 per year with 3.25% and $0.35 per transaction. The good part is no minimum usage other charges at all. Ths link is here https://epay.propay.com/

I used ProPay online a few years ago and was happy with their service. However, a friend of mine used PayPal's Virtual Terminal service a couple of months ago for a fishing show he was in and was satisfied with the result. You need internet service which I doubt is available at an art fair, but if you have an air card which plugs into your laptop's USB port, you would be all set.

Thanks! Propay is the one that was posted here before and I couldn't remember. Looks like some other options have become available, too.
