from today, fairly quiet around so i had quick go at these

40D + 300mm F4L + 1.4 extender
1/125 @ F5.6
ISO 640
FULL FRAME

Well caught!! It looks a teeny bit flat on my screen, but that could be my screen. Some may say there is too much movement in the wings, but I like it as is. Just shows how still they can keep their heads when hovering!

I can see where you're going here, there's just something about it that doesn't quite work. I may be as already said the flatness but I guess I always like to be a bit closer - granted this must have been hard enough to get this one so top marks for your well spent time, well done !
