Redwood National Park
Here's a quick select from yesterdays shoot... hard to pick one; the conditions were excellent! I'm enjoying using the 24mm TS lens I rented from Borrowlenses.com. Super sharp!

That is some truly awesome light you have on the rhododendron's. I really like the comp. I think it would also work in a 4x5 crop.

Me likey! :toast: That's one place I have always wanted to go, maybe next year.

This is really nice, Nat. I like the open, airy feel and you can't beat the mix of redwoods and flowers. BTW, did you rent the new model TS or the older one?

That's one awful purdy shot there, Nat!

Love it. I especially like how the background looks B&W, letting the foreground greens and flowers really pop. Great stuff.

Really nice mood and atmosphere in this one, Nat. I have loved shots of the rhodies and redwoods for many years and continue to dream of being able to go there someday. Your version is a fine one. I might crop the sliver of light on the right side.

I like the comp and the light very much. I think the photo would benefit from a color boost in the rhododendron (both leaves and flowers), and some detail in the big tree trunk on the right.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all for having a look and leaving comments. I'm almost done editing all the photos from this trip and in the end this one didn't make the cut!

Paul,, I rented the old 24mm TS... I've used it in the past; it's a great lens. I'm looking forward to seeing what improvements the new version brings!
