Marsh along the Mississippi at Sunset
A view of the Trempealeau River marsh as it empties into the Mississippi.

I had been out walking in the marsh when it started to look like a good sunset. I got to the highest ground I could to watch the sunset over the marsh. This is late after the main show but I liked the moving clouds better than the redder color from earlier.

Wish I would have had longer in the area but it was a quick trip.

Interesting looking sky here. Did you use a grad on this shot?

I would clone out or crop off those branches peaking in on the right-hand edge of the frame.

Great sky! I agree with Kerry's crop suggestion. Love the colors of the sky and water. Nice shot Darren.

Take care,

Yes, there is a nd grad here. At least a three stop and I may have stacked a 2 stop with it.
