Nice shot, but harsh light not so well handled this time. Don't want to start an ethics debate, but if I found a newly born and still wet deer calf like this I personally would just keep walking and keep well away. Mother and baby need to bond, and baby needs to be licked clean straight away so as not to attract preadators or chill. Just my thoughts.

Agree with Dawn but speaking aesthetically about the image I think that the colours need to bee toned down a bit, it all seems a bit contrasty for me.
