Hare having a wash
This cheeky beast sat in the entrance to a car park and had a wash and brush-up (for about 20 minutes). I sat in my vehicle approximately 12 feet away snapping quite merrily. When he had finished, he meandered off, allowing me to finally park.

Nikon D3 with 200-400 zoom lens set to 400mm/F4. 1/500 sec at -0.33 EV

This is my first post, so I welcome any criticism - preferably constructive.

Welcome Mike. What a wonderful encounter. You must have been well chuffed to have been witness to this. Although setting not perfect its not obviously a car park so you get away with it. Image could do with a little more contrast to add some punch to it.

Cheers, Mark

Welcome! :wavey:

Lovely cheeky shot, excellent composition too. Perhaps a bit more contrast as mentioned, plus I think it could do with a little extra sharpening. Great first post, looking forward to seeing more!

Nice image, nits have been mentioned, I always like these very simple looking shots, although I know they aren't always easy to come by, so well done !
