I want to thank Erik for giving me a couple locations to shoot yesterday in the drizzle. I had gone to Dream Lake to catch a sunrise but all I got was snow and fog..will post an image later. I had intended to go to Ypsilon Falls but Erik said it might not be a good time to go. Instead he recommended a couple places in Wild Basin...Calypso Cascade and Ouzel Falls. With the overcast skies, drizzle and lots of fog I set out and all I can say is WOW!

I finally got around to joining the forum but can't post images yet and I cant seem to find an alternative place to share so if anyone has an idea let me know and I'll get one up to link to..I was really pleased with the result.

I also had an opportunity to try out a 24-105L series lens and what a difference it made! I would have liked a smaller front side but I made it work anyway.

Thanks again Erik!

Calypso is probably sweet right now, along with alot of the St. Vrain. That trail is loaded with great falls, like Copeland a little earlier on. Erik is a wealth of good info on that area for sure.

Jack, we'd like to see your pics, can you put them on pbase or smugmug or whatever if you can upload them to NPN?? Or Facebook or any one of these sites?

Bill, I set up a Facebook account last night but haven't figured out how to share my link yet. Just got my confirmation number from NPN so I'm gonna try to post an image now.
