Red deer in late evening light
I sat for hours to get some decent images of the badgers. They didn't show up...again. On my way back to the car I spotted these hinds and calf's and stalked them for about a hundred meters. I sat down very quietly and hoped for the best. All they had to do is walk up that hill on time and it would be a fantastic shot. They did but a bit to late. The sun was not bright enough but I think this will do.

iso 400 1/13 sec. F4 hand held and full frame

Think it will do as well Edwin. What a nice consolation prize. :toast:

Works for me Edwin, the fields coming alive when all sensible people are safely tucked up at home. (I obviously don't include myself and most others here in that - Wednesday morning 4.00am until 8.00am before work at a fox den = zero  )

Quite like this matey, though I do agree with PC.

Mind you, I'd be chuffed if it was mine Ed :wavey:

I think it works/could work either way IMHO. I love the colours they work well, nicely done.

Great image, and great technique in getting a sharp shot hand-holding at such a slow speed!
