Tongue Flick..
Working some way towards what I really want from an Adder tongue flick and this is one of my recent results but still striving for something else..

Anyway, a fleeting visit as I'm traveling a lot just now but wanted to say hi and spend some time perusing your recent uploads..

Enjoy your weekends (despite the weather..!)

Kind regards,

Brett

Absolutely stunning Brett. I don't know how you can improve on this.

Class image Brett - most envious as I spent the entire day looking for the little darlings on Wednesday - all I got was a slow worm and half a million midge bites

Great shot !
I agree with Scott- i've lived with adders for 30 years - even in the garden here, but never see them like this.
Good stuff

Thanks guys and as I've said before they are at my study sites where I take lots of biometric information giving me the opportunity to get them in these position. Sometimes when they are out in the open which often happens for me and I am able to drop tot he floor and make the most of the occasion. On other times I get images upon their release post weighing and measuring etc.. I have been sitting writing notes in the past and had adders slither past or over my feet/legs which is quite the experience so bottom line.. I take the opportunity to picture the animals whenever I can both for science and for the love of photography.. Like I said before John I have hundreds of images of them in the undergrowth but every now and then they sit tight and prefer to see me off before moving themselves..

Cheers,

Brett

Hello Brett.

What can I say your snake shots are just some of the best I get to see.

Lovely work.
