You just have to rappel to get it, and scrape off some dirt! I came across this scene this morning on the west side of Wolf Creek Pass. On my way up to the pass last night, I saw that the runaway truck ramp just up the road was occupied. Just a half hour later, as some tow operators were trying to move that truck, another one came careening down the pass, brakes out, tipping onto its side and leaving the trailer dangling on these rearranged concrete barriers.
How many times has this happened to you??? Anyway, if it were Mountain Dew I would be scaling the wall -- I am an addict (sips on freshy opened can of the green stuff).
Seeing as how you always come upon these type of incidents with your camera, you might consider a career in photojournalism. And if it ain't Diet Dr. Pepper, I'm not goin' down there.
OH if only I had not just pigged out on the best smoked carnitas fajitas in Colorado I would be chasing those In'N Out burgers with a cold one! They don't have those trucks here Pam... darnit!
On the way back over the pass yesterday, a snow plow was on its way up, no doubt to aid in clean-up. If it had been beer, that wouldn't have been needed.
