Red Deer skulking
I spent a day last October with Danny Green during the rut, and one of the stags seemed to have no interest in the females. He just seemed to hide amongst the trees.

Nikon D300 with 200-400 Zoom at F4. 1/100 sec and -0.03 EV

The lighter area of bracken in the background really helps the dark outline of the deer stand out very well.

Hi Mike, really nice image and nicely framed. Wonder if this would work as a silhouette? :toast:
