Fly

I shot this a couple of weeks ago when the dandelions were out in full force. I noticed there were quite a few bees around but ended up liking the fly more. It was a windy day so I ended up hand holding the camera and I used my Sigma 180 macro lens with a 36mm extension tube.

Comments are appreciated.

Nice detail, Phil. I'm finding out how difficult proper DOF is to attain with small, bright and moving objects. You nailed it nicely.

I like the fly as well. No matter how large or small we focus we can find something glorious.

Beautiful capture, Phil. Proof that there is great beauty in even the most mundane subjects.
