Another one from Redwood
This has been THE place I always wanted to go for years. Chasing fog was the main theme during the three days at the park. The first day was a bummer, but then it got better especially on Damnation Creek trail where I have spent half of my time. C&C much appreciated! :toast:

Really like the solitude aspect the fog gives as it wraps around the tree trunks while the trail leads the eye in.

Looks great in BW. Really like the comp and the way the trees fade away in the background.

Very nice shot, I like how the trail leads your eye into the image. Love the redwoods, Damnation creek is one of my favorite spots in that area.

Gorgeous shot! I love the ferns as lead-in, and the trail that completes the task. Very mysterious.

Todd's comments reflect my own thoughts. Love the 'veiled mystery' of the background, and how the sharp and detailed foreground leads one's eye right there.

A truly excellent choice for b&w, as well.

I really like the conversion. The comp and light are both great. Really well done.

Nice BW conversion, and well-seen comp. I like this shot too, but it looks a little crooked to me; might be stronger with a little CCW rotation? Also, burning the lower right corener might help keep the eye within the frame a bit more...

Great comp and B+W conversion.
