Red Fox cub silhouette
Another" marmite" shot I'm afraid, posted something similar last year with a Red Deer Stag, saw this and thought it would work well with the same treatment!!!!
One of two cubs playing on the bank, the only time they would be still is when sitting!!

Nikon D3,500 F4 afs/2,iso 640,1/250 f7.1.gitzo/exposed for sky then adjusted in photoshop

Cheers

I can't quite make my mind up on this one Craig. If it were mine I think I might crop it a bit tighter, say take the first two pieces of vegetation off the left and I think it would benefit from a very thin key line around the image to contain the lighter top of image. Certainly a different point of view.

A very artistic image and a really strong silhouette especially with the strong diagonal line.
It's always a pleasure to see a slightly different slant on a subject.
As a stand alone image I'm not sure it'd work so well as it could easily be mistaken for an image of a dog. With a title or description though I think it works very well and anything a little different certainly gets a thumbs up from me.
:toast:
Looks like there's just a bit of red fringing on the outline, but easy enough to sort out in Photoshop,Lightroom, etc, etc.

For me it would be nicer if it was actually silhouetted against something other than stark white.

Plenty of potential for print sales at the BF with a nice sunset sky behind  :wavey:

Love the idea and it kind of works for me...I think. I like the B&W treatment - I think my main problem is the fox sitting. If the fox was standing/walking, I'd be much keener. A great idea though.

Only me Craig but just think if you gave it a border it would have more impact for me.

I think it works really well. Just add a splash of colour and you could be a famous director too as such films as 300/Sin City or the Spirit, well the wildlife versions of them anyway !

Really like it and would agree about a border.
