Managed to get out and see how my local Barn Owl is doing, it looks like he has a family so was very active. Which means you will hopefully see a few more images  Taken last weekend when the light was nearly perfect, the shadow annoys me but would be interested in your comments, thanks.

Liam its a classic flight shot and nice to see some of the enviro included, however the killer for me is that there is no eyelight and the shadow across the face doesnt help in this respect.

Liam it works for me ,see what Major means but we can't always have just what we won't.

Very nice, agree 'eye' contact would have been brillant, but still a lovely photo, love the composition   :wavey:

Nice image Liam, I agree with Major and also agree with Keith. I'd be happy with one half as good! :toast:

A well composed image with some nice light on the wings. The shadow across the face is a little unfortunate though.

I agree about the eyelight, but still a lovely and well composed shot.

Like you say, shame about the shadow but hey, that's life go get another one then !

Great comp and works really well as an enviro shot, I'd be rather chuffed with it !
