Scratch that itch
I had a mid-week trip to Skomer. The weather was excellent - the light being a little flat at midday - but altogether glorious. The seabirds there were on good form, especially the Puffins. The island also boasts the largest colony of Manx Shearwaters, all of which go to feed at sea during daylight hours.

This fella clearly was in need of a tree to or a stick to rub up against.

I'll post a more environmental one a little later.

Comments and crits welcome.

A moment well caught but I'm not too sure on this one Chris. The pose looks a bit muddled and confusing, if that makes sense.

Chris its a good capture of the bird doing its thing. Its quite amazing how much eye contact would have changed this shot.I am sure.
