Hi everyone.

I just re-installed my entire system (Windows and Photoshop) on a new hard drive. The problem is that I now "lost" my Camera Raw presets (I had a bunch for different lenses and lighting conditions). I searched the old hard drive for their names, but could not find them. Does someone know how to retrieve the presets?

Thanks in advance.

Try looking in C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings, Momo.

Hi John.

Unfortunately, that folder does not exist on my old hard drive. Thanks anyway.

How about this one:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Settings

Make sure you have your system options enabled to show hidden files/folders and system files/folders etc.

Also try this - from your new installation save a new preset with a very unique name. Look for where it gets stored, then find that folder in your old files.

Wow, what an amazing forum!

I found all the presets exactly where John said they would be. However, that folder was hidden until I turned it on, as per Nat's suggestion. Now I have all my old presets in my new Camera Raw.

Thank you guys!!! :toast:
