Wren on Gorse.
Canon 20D, Canon 500mm f4 & Canon 1.4X Extender,
1/400 sec @ f7.1, + 1/3 exposure compensation, ISO 200.
Beanbag on car window.

Hi,

One from a couple of months ago when the gorse was flowering.
This Wren was singing constantly from the middle of a gorse bush but was always completely out of sight.
I decided to wait a while and an hour or so later he popped up into view, allowing 6 frames, before disappearing back into the bush.

I find this another bogey bird to get a good shot of. This is a lovely image and really sharp. Love the setting as well. :jump:

That's gorgeous. My only question is why did you wait so long to show it to us?

a great shot Justin. It's not always easy to get Wrens as sharp as this as they are often on the move. Very well done.
