Barn Owl
Hello all,

After months without showing, suddenly my local barn owls are picking up their evening activity. Tonight this guy only showed up when the light was pretty much gone, so rather than come away with nothing, I decided to mess around with some motion blur. Any takers?

420mm, 1/30th, f4, iso 800

Thanks for looking,

Billy :wavey:

Hi Maggie,

No worries, I'm not too sure about it myself

If there was just a bit more sharp detail in the owl it would be a cracker! Kudos for trying something different though.

I love the idea and it very nearly works for me, if only the owl was just a little less blurred.

Having said it didn't work for me Billy, it would be a dull old life if we all wore brown suits. :wavey:

quite like this, don't think less blur would help a great deal, you can still tell it's a barn owl afterall, shows up really well against the background
