Here is my take on Fuzzybutt Falls. This was my first time there...wow is it pretty back there! For those who only see the waterfalls from Tims' guide then let me assure you that just because you see those photos you still should make the trip yourself. Most of these spots can not really be appreciated with a single image.
The narrow canyon could easily be missed and the orientation of this canyon lends this falls to being photographed in the morning until much later than those not quite so narrow. Getting across Falling Water Creek was very easy at present water levels with the deepest water I had to cross was maybe 12 inches or so.
Lots of horse tracks in the area so watch out for the end results of those horses!;)
Bob, it looks like you had pretty good water even with the lack of rain lately. The few times I have been there the water was much lower. Thanks for sharing.
Yup, as a result I got my waterfall guidebook banned by both the park service and the forest service when it first came out - they labeled it as "obscene" yet would gladly show you a copy if asked. I sold a LOT of those guidebooks as a result! It all was kind of a joke since there was no bare skin there to marvel at in the first place - I don't have a clue what they were thinking, but I'm glad they were not thinking at all! (the picture is the very same one that is in the guidebook now and they don't seem to have any issues with it - the obscene labels have come off and they continue to sell a lot of them).
